An Arizona native, violinist Taylor Morris graduated from Barrett, the Honors College, at Arizona State University. While obtaining a degree in Violin Performance under the guidance of Dr. Katie McLin, he also received minors in Biology and Political Science. Taylor has performed in master classes for Peter Zazofsky, Serena Canin, and Thomas Landschoot, as well as the Juilliard, St. Lawrence, and Brentano String Quartets. First exposed to fiddling in seventh grade while in the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, he quickly found himself competing in state-wide fiddling competitions where he twice received the "Audience's Favorite Fiddler" award. Taylor discovered Barrage around the same time, and he is thrilled to now have the opportunity to perform with the group!
