(Violin/Vocals/Tin Whistle) Kristina has loved both dance and violin for as long as she can remember. She began violin lessons with her parents, both symphony musicians, when she was three years old. Years later, she went on to study with Gwen Hoebig, Karl Stobbe, and during University, Myron Kartman at the Institute of Chamber Music in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1999, before going to University, she won a violin position with the Winnipeg Symphony, where she worked for two years. Growing up, Kristina had extensive dance training, starting just for fun when she was four years old, taking tap and ballet at first, adding jazz and musical theatre a few years later. Then when she was eleven years old, she was accepted into the Royal Winnipeg Ballet school as a serious ballet student, and trained there for five years. She eventually realized that music was her true love, and suddenly found herself auditioning for Barrage in October of 2004. She was hired the following February, and is currently enjoying her fifth year with the company.
